Hobbies & Interests

I have many hobbies and interests, most of which I can do reclining on the couch or sitting at the puter desk.

I have always been a bookworm. I have many different tastes in books, spanning Enid Blyton (yes, I still have some of hers here), to James Herbert.

Apart from reading I love to sew, and create new clothes to fit the occasion. I love sewing for Melanie and Aimee and have made many outfits for all different occasions. From bridesmaid and flower girls dresses to formal wear for graduations and debs.

Apart from 'playing' on the computer, I also write. I have always been a frustrated writer, and when browsing online discovered an outlet in the form of online writing clubs. The two writing clubs I belong to are Dragon Riders of Pern and Pern Shadows, both which are based on Anne McCaffrey's planet PERN. you can find Links to these clubs on my home page, you can also find links to the Persona's/Character's that I created to live on Pern. I write about their everyday lives and experiences, sort of like mini-books. You will also find links to Anne McCaffrey's site on the homepage.

kids and I went to England, I was sitting writing out birthday cards for family members whose birthdays fell while we would be away. And creating little poems for inside each card, when hubby, Mark, came in and started reading them.
