Favourite Pix

This photo is many years old - many. It was taken when I was in the army and living in Bendigo. Unfortunately a few months after this pic was taken both cubs died of starvation and dehydration, and I'm happy to say the Wildlife Park they were in was closed down.

However, for the few hours I spent with the cubs I had a great time, and big cats remain my favourite animals after dogs.

Speaking of dog's - this is Zeign. I bought him while I was in the army and living in Bendigo. I missed my other dog (who I gave to my brother) and decided that while living out of the barracks a larger dog would be good protection.

Zeign used to wait at the garden gate for me each day when I was due home from work. Unfortunately one morning he was chasing a possum across the road and was hit by a 'hit and run' driver. Atleast I still have photo's of him. German Shepherds have always been a favourite of mine, and we still have one now. When I have a good pic of Gypsie (our beautiful 'tart') she too will join the Gallery. *G*
