This is one dress Aimee will never get to have on her Baby Born doll. This is Mark's families Christening Gown. Worn by generations of the family - Mark included.
Aimee was the last of my kids to wear it. Doesn't she look adorable?
The gown was made in Ireland about 120 years ago, and is in the care of Mark's aunt June. Who is about to become a grandmother for the first time.

In years to come Aimee will hate me putting this pic up, but I don't care! This was taken in the back seat of my mothers car, on a trip back from Dargo. Aimee got the Babar from my brother for the Christmas before this was taken. And Babar was taken everywhere she went.
You can tell she had an exhausting day - but she always looks like an angel when she's asleep! **LOL**
On trips away the back seat was always crammed with baby seats. Bobbie's you can see just touching, and Mel had a larger one on the other side just so she wasn't left out!

I actually have this pic just above my puter at home. When it was taken the photographer said she had never seen a child with a wider smile than Aimee's. When we went back to pick the photo up, she said the pic made Aimee look like she was crying.
I'll let you be the judge!
